Yes. The enclosed environment traps heat and moisture, helping young vines and trees grow straighter, faster, and with higher survival rates—especially in dry or deer-prone areas.

We offer two grow tube diameters,

• 3.5″ diameter – Best for first-year grapevines, small fruit trees, and ornamental plantings.
• 4.0″ diameter – Ideal for larger nursery stock, nut trees, and vigorous or fast-growing vineyard cultivars.

• 36″ – Ideal for fruit/nut trees and vineyards in deer-prone or wildlife-exposed zones.
• 48″ – Recommended for high-deer-pressure environments or long-term protection in orchards, forestry plantings, or reforestation projects.
• Custom lengths are also available to fit specific planting requirements.

While some growers choose to install tubes without stakes, using a properly sized stake is strongly recommended. It helps keep the tube stable in wind, deters wildlife from knocking it over, supports upright growth, and anchors it securely in the soil. Use a stake equal to or slightly taller than the tube, drive it 14–16″ into the ground, and secure it to the tube if needed.

Place the stake in the ground 1–2 inches from the sapling, then slide the grow tube over the plant. Secure the tube to the stake using zip ties or twist locks at two or more points. Ensure the tube is upright and the stake is driven 14–16″ deep for stability.

Our single-wall HDPE tubes come with a UV-resistant proprietary colorant and are designed to last several seasons (2–4 years depending on exposure).

Made from durable, recyclable HDPE, each tube includes built‑in UV stabilization. Proudly manufactured in California, they retain structural integrity and color over time.

Absolutely. Our HDPE grow tubes are designed for multi-season use. To remove, simply cut or slit the tube vertically, taking care not to damage the tree, then slide it off gently. Tubes can be cleaned and stored for reuse in future seasons.

Our single-wall HDPE design allows for breathability while retaining moisture. For extremely wet conditions or specific plant types, vertical slits can be added as needed.
